Weeks 20 & 21

Heyo its been a little slow. I finally got off my furlough so I've been working like a hoe. Ok I'm done rhyming. I haven't gotten too much done in terms of hobbying. But I'll post what I have done. Pictures aren't as good as normal.

First the final member of my yellow squad. A heavy bolter girl. She looks pretty rocking ready to fire some hellfire shells into some heretics.

Here you can see the pattern on her kilt/habit very well!

I bought some classical dwarves off ebay and put them together today. I'm starting a little WHFB dwarf army and this is the first regiment. 20 Warriors with Great weapons & command. Dwarves don't suffer too much form great weapons since the benefit almost always outweighs the negative (they tend to strike last anyways and this grants them +2 strength)

The last 10 I made into quarrelers the dwarven crossbow unit.

Both regiments will be equipped with shields (giving them a hefty 4+ save against ranged attacks for the great weapon users and a 4+ save against everything for the quarrelers. At 11 & 12 points each paying a single point for a +50% survival chance is great. The greataxes will have the hammer & anvil symbol. The quarellers have a winged hammer symbol.

The dwarves hail from Varn Agril literally "Mountain Lake of Silver" in Khazalid. My idea is that when the fortress was first founded its founders had discovered this lake high in the mountains that sparkled like silver, revealing vast underground silver mines and sprinkled in with the silver was gromril. This added great wealth to the Fortresses wealth and helped inspire their primary colors: A sky blue with bright silver metals.

Atm my AC is broken and its hot as hell so we're calling in people to fix the AC. unfortunately this means I had to take everything out of my closet and so theres really no room to paint atm. Instead I'm building some of my rainy day models from my desk to keep functioning. This is the last of the dwarves until another ebay order arrivers (sometime mid-month next month) so I'll probably build some harlequins next. Followed by Ork Mechs.
