So today's post is about a week short. Should I be less wordy in my posts? and just use pictures... hmm I'm just going to do what feels natural.
First up
A fire warrior! Ready to fight for the Farsight Privateers (I should probably think of a more T'auish name. Any ideas?)
A second fire warrior! (this is kinda boring =/)
A pathfinder. I liked his running post so took the picture from this angle. This is the last of my old metal ones so I'll be back to painting plastic ones when I do paint some pathfinders. That being said I painted him then varnished all three of the metal pathfinders so their paint wont chip.
And now I'm going to take a break from T'au for a while, seems like white+purple is all I've been posting lately.
Normally wouldn't post pictures of simply primed models but I got my two sisters done. I'll try to paint them sometime this upcoming week. So they can join my kill team.
One big problem the last week or so has been rain. Just constant rain keeping me from priming models to paint. So when I got a couple of nice days I went all out and primed my entire Aeldari force.
I also started on painting the wave serpent but wont get very far since I need a few more supplies. It also isn't glued yet (in the army picture the pieces are simply dry-fit onto each other). The end idea is to have them fit in with my harlequins so I'm going to mask this then prime black diamonds over the entire thing. With half of it being black+red diamonds and the other being black+white diamonds.
Lastly its our Test Guardian again! After some tips from my friend Dylan I decided to paint the backpack black as well to match the quartering of the rest of the model, this inspired me to also make the faceplate half black. My friend Brice said I should highlight the details on the black parts more so I did though I'm not sure its super visible in this picture. Finally I attempted to wet-blend the base with the original scheme of pink->blue. This was a mistake as it just ended up a mess, I should probably start with easier colors to wet-blend. I have another idea for basing though so I'll attempt that and see if it works instead.
(I've just heard rumors that my Harlequins have shown up in the store as well so I'll be picking those up tomorrow! Hype!)
