Weekly Post #16

This week we start off with Harlequin #3. She sports a pretty sick mohawk and fusion pistol.

A backwards view that gives another angle and the sight of her ribbons.

And an upward angle that helps show off some of the gemstones.

For long years of service Administratum Officer Forescale has finally been rewarded. He now sports a shiny blue coat, gold buttons, and an unstable plasma-charge briefcase. (Which is rigged to explode should it ever leave Administratum Officer Forescales side). And of course he has the always fashionable Administratum Standard-Bald cut.

And a back view. I liked how the slight glow effect came out on the case.

If you were wondering what was underneath everyone. Well its not finished but its a piece of road terrain I've been working on following Wyloch's Armory Guide. He offers a ton of great terrain building ideas.

I got my Storm Strike box on Wednesday and couldn't help myself from immediately building the entire Nighthaunts segment (in blue) and two of the Stormcasts (in gold, specifically the gryph-hound and the Stormcast leader who lacks a helmet). I left the rest of the Stormcast unbuilt since I do not like the death-mask helmets and wanted a decent alternative so I ordered some Paladin helmets from puppetswar. And I guess I'll see how well those will work with them. They're made for space marines but the Stormcast stand taller than standard marines (about on par with primaris)

Finally last night I build a custom divider for my hobby desk out of some double-corrugated cardboard and hotglue. Finally my tools drawer is all organized and ready to go.

Also I know I said I'd be shelving my T'au for a while but that might not be 100% the case. After thinking it over a while I've kinda realized the army I really want to push for is Sisters of Battle when they release and the rest of this stuff is more of a money sink than anything else. So for the time being I'm putting Warhammer army purchases on hold and just focusing on what I own. There's a couple exceptions coming up but other than that I wont be buying miniatures until the Sisters release. And instead focusing on building & painting what I own. And getting games in with what I own.
