Week #6

Sorry few days late but posting now!

I got a tiny photobooth to photo my mini's tell me what you think!

First is a battle sister of a new clan. Ar Sellac. They're brave, loyal and impetuous.

It was a bit dark at first so I raised her up on my modpodge bottle to be a bit closer to the lamp.

And finally a front view.

Another Ar Sellac sister.

Her tartan, the Purity seal stands out nicely.

And her running to the side.

Now we've had a gunning sister, and a running sister. And now the RUnning+Gunning Sister!

Her back.

And frontal view.

Next up is my new sergeant for a Brood Brother Squad. I got these guys second hand so they're all just normal cadians no conversions. I need to redo their bases but that will be later. I think I'm going to abandon the old base style, it takes too long for a horde army.

His back, all 11 of these guys got painted in a single day.

The five snap-fit guardsmen who came with it. I'll probably need to buy more.

(I forgot to ink their grenades)

No you aren't seeing double, nor photoshop, Just two identical flamer troops I photo'd at the same time since... they're identical.

Reversed!

One side!

The Other side!

The Vox-casters were also identical.

The other way.

Woo vox-casting

The other way.

The one normal guardsman who wasn't ez-build

I got five new Abberants as well. Heres the first one! (shortly after this pic I did do the energy coils on his hammer dont worry. I know you were worried about that)

I went with brown pants this time to differenciate from the tan of their carapace.

Another

And another!

Hes going to hit someone with a rock.

Alas poor Yarrick.

Oh yeah I got these guys from Warpcrate which sends random minis (based on a few selections such as army). These guys were already built & based. I'll probably use this basing technique on the future since its easy and looks nice.

Finally the second abberant this one got a blue sign with sandstone "cement" on his weapon. I like that squads can ahve 1 abberant per 5 guys so I can use both of these

Back!

Sisters got a lot of people to bolter their way through... doesn't look great.

Week #5

Sorry no post this week. I did get some stuff painted (A sister and a dice rolling tray) but didn't photo them. And I kept putting it off so now but I've also ordered a mini photo-booth for taking pictures of my miniatures so Im just going to wait for that and photo both this and next weeks all together.

Week #4

Finally some fucking miniatures. Here we go!

Starting out we have the canoness from the Sisters of Battle Army Box

Maeve the Shadowbreaker is her name. She's the only member of the Order to have served during the defense of Morrighan.

I gave her a lot of gold details to help accentuate her rank among the sisters. She is the leader of the entire order after all.

Next up is a Stealth Suit. I wanted to get a "Shifting" look where their active camo is just starting hence the look.

From the other side.

Next I did one but had it be half and half shifted.

From behind.

And from the Right

And from the Left

Squad Leader now.

Back View

Her weapon is magnetized so I can swap between a fusion gun and burst cannon.

Next up is a Pathfinder with Rail Rifle. This is the sniper of my kill team and is fairly deadly once they start getting their shots off.

Back View

Front View

Finally I painted up a D&D mini for our new party member "Penny" who is a College of Swords bard.

I tried doing Zenithal priming with her but I don't think it really shows through at all so  I might nix that idea in the future.

Everyone together!

Week #3

Been in a bit of a slump. Hopefully coming out of it now as I primed some models yesterday and am painting up a mini today. So next week I should be back to fairly regular updates.

Week #2

Aint got nothing for you this week. I got some Scions & Guardsmen from a friend (along with the guard codex) and I build the scions (the guardsmen were already built)

The guardsmen will be joining my cult while the scions will be joining the Emeraldgard. Which are my elite bodyguards of the Morrighan royalty for my imperial armies.
